South is being built on an ideal of sustainable, eco-friendly design.

Elleven, Luma and Evo will be the first green residential high-rise buildings in downtown Los Angeles, and all South residences are currently seeking LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

LEED certification is the nationally recognized standard for sustainable and environmentally focused construction. For a building to be LEED certified it must be designed and built to strict standards set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council. The goal is to create a building that uses less energy, fewer natural resources and is environmentally responsible – both locally and globally.

The homes at South are created to these standards, using sustainable and renewable materials, efficient and low-impact construction techniques, and a thoughtful, eco-friendly approach to neighborhood growth and planning.

All of this is price-competitive with conventional building techniques. It just requires more effort and thinking on our part – and we’re here to do just that.
